PUNCAK - As part of its ongoing mission to support the well-being of communities in Papua, the Infantry Battalion Task Force (Satgas Yonif) Raider 323/Buaya Putih Kostrad, under the HABEMA Operations Command, conducted a humanitarian initiative in Puncak Regency, Central Papua Province. Demonstrating the spirit of love and care, the Mayuberi Strong Point Task Force Yonif 323/Buaya Putih Kostrad distributed wearable clothing to residents of Mayuberi Village, North Ilaga District, on Tuesday (11/02/2025).
Leading the activity, First Lieutenant Yudo, Commander of the Mayuberi Strong Point, emphasized that this initiative is part of the task force’s ongoing commitment to alleviating the hardships faced by remote communities.
“Providing wearable clothing is a social initiative that we consistently carry out across all posts of Yonif 323/Buaya Putih Kostrad. We hope these simple yet essential items can help ease the daily struggles of residents and strengthen our bonds with the local community, ” he stated.
For the people of Mayuberi, this initiative was more than just receiving clothes—it was a moment of solidarity and care. Mama Alona, a resident of the village, expressed her deep gratitude for the support shown by TNI.
"Thank you, Mr. TNI, for visiting our village and sharing these clothes with us. They are very useful for our families, " she said emotionally.
The distribution of clothing aligns with TNI’s broader mission to support basic community needs while fostering peace and development in Papua.
Major General TNI Lucky Avianto, Commander of HABEMA Operations, highlighted the significance of such humanitarian actions:
"The initiative of Satgas Yonif 323 Kostrad to distribute clothing to the people of Mayuberi Village is a reflection of TNI's deep concern for the welfare of the Papuan community. By addressing basic needs, we contribute to accelerating regional development and strengthening social harmony."
